There is a peculiar habit in the kitchen industry, and almost nobody talks about it. The price you are quoted by the famous high‑street brands is not really the price of your kitchen. It is the price of your kitchen, plus the cost of the showroom you stood in, plus the salary of the designer who measured up, plus the television advertising you have seen for the last decade, plus the rent on a hundred other showrooms in a hundred other towns you will never visit.
All of that has to be paid for somehow. And it is paid for, very quietly, in the line items of your quote.
We thought there might be a better way. So we built one.
Bring us the design. We will build the same kitchen for less.
Here is the part most people find difficult to believe the first time they hear it. You can walk into any of the well‑known kitchen retailers, have them design your dream kitchen, take home the plans, the elevations, the spec sheet, the price — and then send all of it to us.
We will look at the design carefully. We will match it, cabinet for cabinet, door for door, worktop for worktop, hinge for hinge. The same materials. The same construction. The same finish. And then we will quote you a price that is, at the very least, twenty percent lower. In most cases, closer to thirty.
On a fifteen‑thousand‑pound kitchen, that is between three and four and a half thousand pounds back in your pocket. On a thirty‑thousand‑pound kitchen, it can be the price of a small family car.
How we manage it
We do not own a showroom. We do not advertise on prime‑time television. We do not employ a salaried designer in every market town in the country. We work directly with the same British and European manufacturers that supply the famous names, and we hand‑pick a small network of fitters whose standards we know personally.
Everything you would have paid for the marquee, the carpet, the coffee machine and the commission — we simply do not charge you for. That is the entire trick. There is no corner cut, no inferior carcass, no thinner door. Only the theatre has been removed.
No job is too large, and none is too small
A galley kitchen in a one‑bedroom flat is welcome here. So is a thirty‑unit handleless run with an island the size of a small boat. We have helped landlords replace tired rentals for under five thousand pounds, and we have built kitchens for country houses that ran well into six figures. The saving works the same way at every scale, because the principle is the same at every scale.
What we ask of you
Only this. Before you sign anything with one of the big retailers, send us what they sent you. A photograph of the quote on your kitchen table is enough. A PDF is better. A full plan and elevation is best. We will come back to you, usually within the hour, with a like‑for‑like price and a short note explaining where the saving has come from.
If you decide to go with us, marvellous. If you decide to go with them, we wish you a very long and happy life with your new kitchen. Either way, you will at least know what your kitchen actually costs to make — which is information the industry would rather you did not have.
The kitchen is the same. The price is not. That is the whole of our business in a single sentence.
Send us the quote you were about to sign.
Any brand. Any size. We will reply within the hour during working hours, with a like‑for‑like price at least 20% lower.
